Julep was from the first litter
bred at Netiv HaAyit, and from the day she was born she was my best friend and constant companion. She never became
a champion, though she had her successes in the show ring, but she was a great obedience dog and won prizes at home and abroad.
She was always willing to try anything I asked, and among other things, was also a herding dog for sheep and geese.
Julep spent her whole life waiting to save me from something - to her disappointment, she never had the chance.
Julep was a true collie in all
ways, and her temperament has always been the shining example for the Netiv HaAyit collies.
